Media Production
ACTIN's Executive Media Production Studio here on North Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago was built specifically for the needs and requirements of multimedia web video productions. Our studio is laid out to optimize the amount of square footage and the number of people required to run the equipment. In order to accomplish the goal of a cost efficient design, our Executive Media Production Studio features the latest and best quality studio equipment on the market.
LIGHTING
Our lighting is all LED lighting. It is dramatically smaller than the comparable "older" studio-lighting and requires a fraction of the energy costs while allowing us to significantly scale down our studio size.

GREEN SCREEN
We also utilize the same LED light technology to produce our "green-screen". Instead of dedicated rooms painted green, we flip the switch on our Green LED Light Ring mounted on the camera and the background instantly and evenly lights up green. This saves time in arranging lights and produces a superior and easier green screen key making it more efficient to process the footage after the shoot.
WIRELESS AUDIO
We utilize some of the world's smallest wireless lavalier microphones that are easily hidden on the spokesperson. These microphones produce the clearest noise free signal available. We no longer need to spend time trying to remove unwanted noise from the background or extra time recording when an unexpected noise appears in the background.
HD Digital Recording
Our Executive Media Production Studio utilizes Sony's latest HD studio cameras recording in full frame 1080p/1080i format. Our compact digital media production workflow allows us to shoot and immediately playback, as well as duplicate and transfer footage, to confirm the crew and client's approval of the footage. No more unexpected delays and additional costs from having to "re-shoot" footage that does not come out as expected.
TELEPROMPTING
All of our Actin multimedia production services utilize a teleprompter to make the recording sessions shorter by assisting the spokesperson with lines. Our system ensures quick and easy edits can be made to the script directly into the teleprompter during the shoot.
ON-LOCATION
Some projects require that we bring the studio to you. Many times mobile video productions can be expensive and less appealing than those shot in the studio. However, ACTIN's mobile video studio is designed specifically for the needs of web video productions.

Today, high definition DSLR technology can be used to dramatically cut costs of mobile media productions. Shooting video with a DSLR is VERY different than shooting still photographs. In order to take advantage of this technology, one must understand the strengths and respect the limitations of a DSLR when shooting video.
